As the name suggests, the New England Expedition Riders rides emphasizes longer, more interesting rides for avid cyclists. Our emphasis is on riding new places, new/different routes, often mixed terrain, dirt where possible, choosing the riding that makes most sense for the season and weather (such as beach/sandy trails on rainy days, and snow-covered trails in New Hampshire when that’s where the good snow is to be found). When we offer road rides, they’re almost always 60 miles or longer to offer quality endurance miles and some nice destinations. Our members are people who love to ride, have great attitudes, and aren’t necessarily fast (some are and some aren’t), but want to ride their bikes as much as possible. We usually have ~150-250 members at any moment in time.

Honey 100 - Mixed terrain adventure ride, Formidable - 150 mile road ride across Massachusetts, Formidable Terra - 100 mile mixed terrain across Massachusetts, Highpoint - Road ride from Lexington to the top of Mt Greylock, 100 mile, 200 mile, and 300 mile options, Diverged - Creative mixed terrain route staying close to the start but hitting tons of trails, back roads, and unexpected places, Pioneer Day Ride - 100 mile Gravel ride in honor of the early Tour de France Days, March Migration - 7 days of Mixed Terrain riding in the state of Georgia, First Snow Ride - We ride in the first snowfall each year, Full Moon Ride - Mixed Terrain night ride, Nomad 3-Day - Bikepacking ride, Dusk to Dawn - All night mixed terrain ride, Dunes and Dirt - 100 mile fat bike ride, Brutiful ride events - Early season gravel and fat bike rides, Trail Mix - Gravel rides of 100km, 150 miles, and 200 mile, Tour of the Unattended - Solo race, Fall Five - Solo race, Coffee Cross - Mixed terrain, Starry Night Microadventure - Bikepacking overnight, Social Distance ride series - gravel rides during the pandemic, Thanksgiving mixed terrain - starting temperature: 6 degrees, Maneha 250 - Bikepacking overnight with 125 miles of gravel and mixed terrain riding each day, Adventure 500 series - road rides of 100 miles each, all with gentle dirt appropriate for 28mm road tires!

Thank you for putting together another amazing fun route. I had such a blast yesterday. For me one of the great parts was starting as one of the first groups and when getting passed by faster groups, being able to have a short little chat with some familiar faces before they took off again. I had a great time meeting new people as well. Missed the pre-ride tea, but the post-ride food was superb! Loved the salad (I just love veggies, especially salads and fruit).
