As the name suggests, the New England Expedition Riders rides emphasizes longer, more interesting rides for avid cyclists. Our emphasis is on riding new places, new/different routes, often mixed terrain, dirt where possible, choosing the riding that makes most sense for the season and weather (such as beach/sandy trails on rainy days, and snow-covered trails in New Hampshire when that’s where the good snow is to be found). When we offer road rides, they’re almost always 60 miles or longer to offer quality endurance miles and some nice destinations. Our members are people who love to ride, have great attitudes, and aren’t necessarily fast (some are and some aren’t), but want to ride their bikes as much as possible. We usually have ~150-250 members at any moment in time.
If you participated in one of these events, you enjoyed one of our rides in the past! These are a few of our biggest and most well-known rides. There are hundreds more.

A perfect fall day, a long ride through variable terrain, sand, pine needles, gravel and more! Magnificent views of beaches, marshes, towns. - G.B. Brutiful Cape
Thank you for putting together another amazing fun route. I had such a blast yesterday. For me one of the great parts was starting as one of the first groups and when getting passed by faster groups, being able to have a short little chat with some familiar faces before they took off again. I had a great time meeting new people as well. Missed the pre-ride tea, but the post-ride food was superb! Loved the salad (I just love veggies, especially salads and fruit). Grilled cheese and the soup as something warm were perfect for this time of year and hit the spot. Thank you so much! Also, thank you for keeping these events at an affordable price. - Y.M. Brutiful Rhodes Island
